Dance As An Art Form

Art is defined in the Oxford dictionary as the expression or application of human creative skill and imagination, in a visual form, via works appreciated primarily for their beauty or emotional power. And in Britannica online, dance is the movement of the body in a rhythmic way responding to music that may be lively, spirited, vibrant, moody, slow, or soft. The visual components of color, form, line, shape, space, texture, and value, maybe two or three dimensional, descriptive, implied, or abstract is projected in every dance rendition. All these characteristics make dance a solid art form.
