Learning from Virtual Learning

An invisible enemy created a worldwide health crisis, forcing every nation to respect its damaging effects by adjusting the way we live. The home is possibly the only safe place to protect one’s self against contracting the dreaded virus. That meant doing practically every out-of-residence transaction or regular old normal activity within the confines of the home. We purchase food items and durable goods through online retailers, have them delivered through the services of logistics firms or in-house delivery service whose personnel have access to map-reading programs on their mobile communication devices, and finally pay via cashless portals or bank transfers. Quite several employees, who do not need to be physically present in the office, now do work from home and attend online training whenever needed. Students, by force of circumstance, need to do remote learning until a vaccine is made available. Patients, especially vulnerable senior citizens, are encouraged to conduct e-consultations with their doctors. All of these is made possible with the ownership of a computer, a tablet or smartphone, subscription to an internet service provider and the use of various apps with many different choices of platforms.
